TEDx Talk

In 2016, I was honored to share the story of the value of skill at TEDx Raleigh.  In the six years that have passed, progress has been made but, unfortunately, much of the data remains the same today.  Our country is still facing a significant skills gap.  The number of people who have taken on student debt for a degree that doesn't match their interests or the needs of the workforce has grown to a staggering amount.  The last two years have only continued to highlight the desperate need for re-focusing the conversation from simply getting a degree, to investing in learning a skill that our workforce needs. Help share the story about the value of skill and let's redefine what success looks like for generations to come.
